A delicious and nutritious fig smoothie perfect for a quick breakfast or snack, packed with fiber, protein, and natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 4–5 pieces fresh figs (stems removed, or 3 soaked dried figs)
  • 1 large banana (frozen, ripe)

Liquid

  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)

Sweetener

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Flavorings & Spices

  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cardamom (optional)

Add-ins

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder (optional)
  • 1 handful ice cubes (for consistency)

Instructions 

  • Wash and prep figs (cut or soak).
  • Add almond milk and Greek yogurt to blender.
  • Add figs and frozen banana, then pour in honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • Add chia seeds, flaxseed, protein powder, and ice, then blend until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use frozen banana and add more ice if needed.
